St KIlda Film Festival is Australia's longest running short film festival and has been showcasing the Australian short films for soon to be 25 years.

St Kilda Film Festival screens Australian short films in all genres including drama, comedy, documentary, animation and digital media.

The 2008 competition will screen the top 100 short film entries received, and the competition is fierce!

The short film competition awards over $33,000 worth of cash and in-kind craft awards, including a $10,000 prize for Best Short Film – the highest cash prize in the country!
